Ambrian announces that on theΒ 2nd AprilΒ 2009 it acquiredΒ 5,000Β ordinary shares of 10p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company at a price ofΒ 14.5pΒ per Ordinary Share.Β 

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holdsΒ 4,380,000Β Ordinary Shares as treasury shares. The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) isΒ 106,981,208.
