Sirdar PLC05 June 2007 Sirdar PLC ("Sirdar" or "the Group") 5 June 2007 Management changes In the interim results released on 29 March 2007, Sirdar detailed plans toamalgamate its two floor coverings activities into one operation and announcedthat Gordon Donald, the current managing director of the Group's Burmatexbusiness, had been appointed as managing director of the Group's floor coveringsdivision with effect from 1 July 2007. Regrettably, Mr. Donald has now decided to take up a position in anotherbusiness, outside the floor coverings sector, and will leave the Group on 31July 2007. In view of this, the Group intends to commence a formal recruitmentprocess for this position as soon as possible. Steve Harrison, the Group's chief operating officer, will increase his timecommitment to the Group with effect from 1 August 2007 to enable him to act asmanaging director of the floor coverings division until the completion of therecruitment process. In addition to the above, Ian Stead, the Group's company secretary, will stepdown from that position on 30 June 2007 to enable him to concentrate on his roleas finance director of the Group's specialist yarns division. Kevin Henry,finance and planning director, will take on the additional role of companysecretary with effect from 1 July 2007.
