Directorate Change
Airea plc announced today that Kevin Henry, the Group's Finance Director will leave the Group on Friday 28th August 2009, and will step down from the Board with immediate effect.
Kevin has played a key role in implementing a number of strategic changes in recent years including the reorganisation of the residential floor coverings business, the amalgamation of the Ryalux and Burmatex businesses and the sale of the Specialist yarns division.
Kevin has agreed to support the business until his successor is appointed and an announcement concerning this will be made in due course. In the short term Roger Salt has added the role of Company Secretary to his existing duties as Finance Director-Operations.
