DIRECTORATE CHANGE
Further to the announcement on 24 October 2019 of the intended retirement of the Chairman, Mr Richard Pym in March 2020, AIB Group plc and Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. (together the "Group" or "AIB") now confirms that Mr Pym's retirement as Chairman and as Chair of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee will take effect from 6 March 2020, following the release of the 2019 Annual Report.
The Group is in the process of identifying the next Chairs both of the Board and of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee and further announcements will be made in due course.
This announcement is made in accordance with Euronext Listing Rule 6.1.64 and 6.1.65 and UK Listing Rule 9.6.11 and 9.6.12.
