In conformity with theΒ Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules the CompanyΒ would like to notify the market of the following:
Afren plc'sΒ total issued shareΒ capital consistsΒ 443,305,224Β of OrdinaryΒ Shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") with voting rights. No Ordinary Shares are held in treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Afren plc isΒ 443,305,224.
The above figureΒ (443,305,224Β Ordinary Shares) may be used by shareholders as
the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Afren
plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
