Successful completion of the Ebok appraisal drilling programme
London,Β 3 February 2009 -Β Afren plc and its partner Oriental Energy are pleased to announceΒ the successful completion of the appraisal drilling programmeΒ on the Ebok Field, Block OML 67, offshore Nigeria. The jack up drilling rig,Β Transocean Trident IV,Β was releasedΒ from the EbokΒ Field onΒ 1Β FebruaryΒ 2009.
The appraisal programme met all pre-drill objectives and analysis of the data is ongoing.
On receipt of theΒ independentΒ analysis of the appraisal programme dataΒ a further announcement will be made.Β
