Result of Open Offer

Following the 1 for 6 Open Offer announced by Aminex on 2 February 2011 (the "Open Offer") which closed at 11.00 a.m. on 11 March 2011, the Company announces that applications have been received for 96,114,763 New Ordinary Shares and accordingly the Open Offer was oversubscribed by approximately 27%. All entitlements will be met and excess applications will be scaled back pro rata. Consequently, 75,667,727 Open Offer Shares will be issued under the Open Offer.

Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the UK Listing Authority for 75,667,727 New Ordinary Sharesto be issued pursuant to the Open Offer to be admitted to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange and the Official List maintained by the UK Listing Authority. Application has also been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange for admission of such New Ordinary Sharesto trading on their respective main markets for listed securities. It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the New Ordinary Shares will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 15 March 2011.

Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms in this announcement have the same meaning as in the Prospectus dated 17 February 2011.
