Quadling process plant commences operations

Pan Pacific Aggregates plc (AIM:PPA), the British Columbia based aggregates company,  is pleased to announce that as of Friday, 28 May 2010, the Group has begun to produce specification aggregates via the use of its main processing plant at its Quadling Quarry. The production of specification aggregates diversifies the Group's offering and will increase sales volumes and improve margins. Prior to the opening of the processing plant, the Group produced limited product sales since its opening on 26 March 2010.. PPA will now be producing a full range of products to service the Group's existing customers and to attract new buyers.

The Vancouver region continues to enjoy buoyant market conditions which have resulted in greater aggregates demand through commissioned infrastructure and construction based projects. Due to the Group's strategic location, which is adjacent to Highway One (Trans-Canadian Highway), Pan Pacific Aggregates has a unique competitive advantage over immediate competitors.
