Pan Pacific Aggregates PLC06 August 2007 Pan Pacific Aggregates Plc The Company, following consultation with representatives of the Provincial andFederal Governments of Canada, has decided to defer the submission of theapplication for an environmental certificate for the present. This defermentwill allow the Company to review its operational options within the NorthernCarbonate area and continue its discussions with the respective governmentbodies. It the meanwhile the Company will continue its drilling and material testingprogram principally in the southern zone. It is envisaged that market sampleswill be sent to potential customers for their evaluation. The CEO - William Voaden commented 'Although it is frustrating that we have had to defer the submission for theenvironmental permit, we will be using this additional time to continue ourdiscussions with the Provincial and Federal Governments in considering furtheroptions within the Northern Carbonate area and testing the agabbro and otherrocks in the southern zone for market acceptability.' The Company proposes to update the market again in October following review ofoptions and discussions with government officials.
