This disclosure relates to a single transaction of which notification is required under paragraph 3.1.2. of the Disclosure Rules and section 793 of the Companies Act 2006.
The Company has been notified that on 10 November 2008 the Alastair Lyons Settlement 2002 Trust, of which Alastair Lyons, the Group's Chairman, is one of the beneficiaries, sold 43,448 shares in Admiral Group plc at £10.06 in connection with a tax liability arising out of the transfer of his shareholding into the trust in April 2008.
Following the above transaction, the Alastair Lyons Settlement 2002 Trust holds 572,152 Ordinary 0.1p shares in Admiral Group plc. The shareholding is held in the name of HSBC Global Custody Nominee (UK).
