Resignation of Director
China Private Equity Investments Holdings Limited announces that Jacky Chau Vinh Heng has resigned with immediate effect as a Non-executive Director and Vice Chairman of the Company to pursue other business interests.
The Board of CPE would like to thank Mr Chau for his contribution to date and wishes him the best for the future.
As announced on 22 November 2012, CPE intends to appoint David Kiang, a senior advisor to Gen2 Partners Limited ("GEN2"), to the Board as a Non-Executive Director, as part of its agreement to develop a strategic partnership with Gen2. Mr Kiang is a senior advisor to Gen2, an independent asset management firm headquartered in Hong Kong with specialist expertise in private equity investing in Greater China and current assets under management of approximately US$500 million. A further announcement confirming Mr Kiang's appointment will be made in due course.
