Acta S.p.A.05 July 2007 Acta S.p.A. ("Acta" or the "Company") Director/PDMR Shareholding Acta, the AIM-listed catalyst developer, announces that in August 2006, PaoloBert (Chief Executive Officer) entered into a personal loan agreement with Montedei Paschi di Siena under which Mr Bert pledged 600,000 ordinary shares ofEUR0.006 in the Company (the "Shares") as security against the loan. Under the AIM Rules, entry into such an agreement constitutes a dealing by MrBert and, as a result, requires disclosure to the market. The orderly market provisions imposed upon the directors of Acta at the time ofthe Company's AIM IPO were observed in full. The 600,000 Shares represent approximately 3.4% of Mr Bert's shareholding.Following the signing of the loan, Mr Bert's interest in Acta remained unchangedat 17,483,022 ordinary shares in the Company representing approximately 48.8% ofthe Company's issued share capital.
