("Asian Citrus" or the "Company")
Delay in Despatch of Circular Regarding the Major Transaction
Reference is made to the announcement of Company dated 25 August 2016 in relation to, among other things, the proposed acquisition of 100% of Eagleton Global Investments Limited and the proposed placing of 610,000,000 shares of the Company under a specific mandate (the "Announcement"). Unless otherwise specified, capitalised terms used herein shall have the same meanings as defined in the Announcement.
As disclosed in the Announcement, a circular regarding, among other things, the Acquisition and the Placing (the "Circular") was expected to be despatched to the Shareholders on or before 14 October 2016. As the Company requires more time to prepare and finalise the required information for inclusion in the circular, and in light of the Company's announcement dated 29 September 2016 regarding an expected delay in publication of the Group's audited consolidated financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2016, the Company will update shareholders as to the despatch date of the Circular in due course.
