PDMR Dealing

Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), a global leader in the supply of protein research tools, was notified today that on 4 May 2012 Ed Ralph, a PDMR of the Company, sold 20,000 Ordinary Shares held by his wife, Victoria Ralph, at a price of 370.14p per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Ralph's total beneficial interest in the Company is 362,159 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.18 per cent of the current issued share capital of the Company.
