Director/PDMR Dealings: LTIP

Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), the rapidly growing bioscience company that markets antibodies via its own online catalogue, announces that on 2 December 2010 the Remuneration Committee granted the following conditional nil cost share awards at a price of 345 pence per ordinary share (the closing share price on 1 December 2010) to the Executive Directors and PDMRs of the Company under the Abcam plc Long-Term Incentive Plan (the "LTIP"):

The shares subject to these LTIP awards will be released in three years' time subject to continued employment and subject to the satisfaction of certain specific performance conditions based on:

·; the Company's Comparative Total Shareholder Return performance against a Comparator Group of companies; and

·; growth in Earnings per Share.
