Director/PDMR Shareholding Notification
Cambridge, UK: Abcam (AIM: ABC, "Abcam" or the "Company"), a global leader in the supply of life science research tools, was notified on 28 January 2020 that on 24 January 2020 Dr Jonathan Milner, a Non-Executive Director of the Company sold, in aggregate, 1,100,000 ordinary shares of 0.2 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").
These transactions are for tax and estate planning. Dr Milner continues to remain committed to the Company as a member of Abcam's board in his role as Deputy Chairman.
As a result of the transactions described above, Dr Milner's total direct and indirect interest in the Company has decreased to a total of 18,009,496 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 8.74% of the Company's issued share capital.
The Notification of Dealing Form for this transaction is provided below. This announcement is made in accordance with Article 19 of the EU Market Abuse Regulation 596/2014.
