CLOSE TECHNOLOGY & GENERAL VCT PLC
VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL
In conformity with the Transparency Directive's provisions we would like to notify the market of the following:
Close Technology & General VCT PLC's capital as at 31 July 2008 consisted of 13,611,991 ordinary shares and 35,519,776 C ordinary shares. Close Technology & General VCT PLC holds 493,473 Ordinary shares and 14,796 C shares in Treasury.
Therefore the total number of voting rights in Close Technology & General VCT PLC is 48,623,498.
The figure of 48,623,498 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Close Technology & General VCT PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
