Net Asset Value

The Board of Close Technology & General VCT PLC announces that as at 31 October 2008, the unaudited net asset value was approximately 103.3 pence per Ordinary share before accounting for the 8.0 pence dividend declared on 4 December 2008, payable on 30 December 2008, and approximately 84.2 pence per C share before accounting for the 1.5 pence dividend declared on 4 December 2008, payable on 30 December 2008.
