Artemis VCT plc (the 'Company')

Portfolio update

As a result of the acquisition of Vision Direct, the unquoted online retailer of contact lenses, the Company has received £3.2 million in cash in respect of its holding.

The difference between the Company's previous valuation of its holding and the cash received from the acquisition has resulted in an increase in the Company's net asset value of 2.5 pence per share (3.9 per cent) which is reflected in the net asset value released today.
