Board Committee Appointment

London and Lagos, 15 September 2020: Airtel Africa plc ("Airtel Africa", or the "Company"), a leading provider of telecommunications and mobile money services, with a presence in 14 countries across Africa, is pleased to announce the appointment of Awuneba Ajumogobia, an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, to the Audit and Risk Committee with immediate effect.

Awuneba will continue to serve as a member of the Company's Remuneration Committee.
