Close Brothers Dev VCT PLC30 April 2008 CLOSE BROTHERS DEVELOPMENT VCT PLC Further to the announcement of 7 April regarding the extension of the Company'sclose period for the purchase of own shares pending the sale of a substantialinvestment, the Company confirms that the sale is still under negotiation, andtherefore the close period will continue for the time being.
