Unique Interactive, which develops software for digital radio operators, todayannounces that it has signed a contract with the iBiquity Digital Corporationof the USA which will see it provide consultancy services relating to thedevelopment of terrestrial digital radio in the United States. iBiquity is the sole developer of HD Radio(TM) technology, the technology thatis the agreed standard for terrestrial digital radio broadcasting and dataservices in the United States. iBiquity is backed by the industry leaderswithin the US broadcasting, consumer electronics and automotive sectors.Simon Cole, UBC's CEO, commented "The US radio market is enormous compared with the UK market.
