Appointment of Permanent CEO
One Savings Bank plc, the mutual bank, is pleased to announce that, after a detailed and extensive search process, it has appointed Andy Golding as its permanent Chief Executive Officer. The appointment is likely to take effect on 3rd January 2012; until that time the organisation will continue to be led by interim CEO, Jeremy Wood and there will be a handover period to ensure a smooth transition.
Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Malcolm McCaig, said:
"The Board is delighted to announce Andy's appointment. He joins us from his current position as CEO of Saffron Building Society where he has been since 2004. We are confident that he will bring the required vision and leadership to OneSavings Bank and Kent Reliance. He has 25 years of experience from a range of senior banking and building society positions to enable us to continue the progress made in achieving our vision for the future."
"We would like to thank Jeremy Wood, our interim CEO, for his leadership during this period of transition and for bringing stability to the Bank following the business transfer from Kent Reliance Building Society earlier this year. His ability to develop and implement our long term plans has enabled us to build momentum in our business and he will ensure that there will be a smooth transfer to our new CEO."
