Acquisition of an interest of 88% of the share capital of North West Electricity Networks (Jersey) Limited

ENW Finance plc (the "Company") has been informed that 85.6% of the share capital of North West Electricity Networks (Jersey) Limited ("NWEN J") has today been acquired by Scottish Power Energy Networks Holdings Limited (the "Acquirer"), a subsidiary of Iberdrola S.A.. The Acquirer also subscribed in new shares of NWEN J to bring their overall ownership stake to 88%. NWEN J indirectly owns 100% of the Company.
