Evolution not revolution under new managers

BlackRock Greater Europe Investment Trust (BRGE) has a new management team. In November 2025, Brian Hall was appointed as co-manager to bring a more quality/value approach given the severity of the growth style headwind that has negatively affected the trust’s performance since the end of 2021. On 31 March 2026, the board announced that BRGE’s lead manager since June 2017, Stefan Gries, would be leaving the industry for personal health reasons, and was replaced, with immediate effect, by Benjamin Moore.
