Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Vmax, having been here since 2010 watching the SP collapse from around 40p to 1p I think my analysis is spot on, I'm hoping much of the ground work has been laid so Leon representing JLP doesn't need to be going door to door like a glazing salesman, what appears to be positive news & results & so on seems to do little for the SP is my point & true to for we've had a retraction to the mid teens instread of maintaining or breaking higher ground.
Ok, so not a lot of new info other than some future appetizers, from an SP aspect it never fails to frustraite, having broke the 20p barrier earlier in the year one wonders where & when the next spark will be. JLP has clearly come along way but I for one remain cautious, most of us LTH know it's already been a long road to get to where we are, one can only hope it's not too much of more of the same.
I know this has been discussed but wanted to add my two penith worth & despite whats been said about investment for future projects etc quite honestly this worries me, we already have 2.25 billion shares in issue, how long before the big C ?
I've been playing the game long enough to know what this would mean & have been horribly stung every time
Having been invested in JLP for over 10 years & looking forward to the coming precieved growth I'm now thinking slightly different, the analysts have flagged dilution as an issue with JLP but I to thought these days were gone, having been down to the point of oblivion here for so long I'm not prepared to risk it all again while waiting for the big C.
in my view when do ever see one of these articles saying buy buy buy, more often than not they sit on the fence, if they get it wrong in a positive sence so what no ones going to take them to court over it, I wouldn't base any decision on what any of these articles spout out at this level SP, did any article say what a bargain JLP was a year ago.......the answers tells you all you need to know
Still looking in here every so often, though in my mi d i've almost written off my 20 k investment & just thought how well solo is doing ha ha ha compared to a mate who only 1slams or so years ago set up a taxi firm on a shoe stri g budget , hes now built it up & is one of the biggest in the east midlands turning over millions of pounds a year, guess where i should have stuck my investment!
Based on this RNS how far will the SP fall !
I tell you what, we're looking at approx 250% rise from here to get back to the consolidate price, so what price would we now say we we're aiming for medium term ? I mean we're almost looking at the impossible for that in it's self to happen, regardless of the assets this stinks to high heaven.
I've tried to keep faith with JLP ever since the failed platinum Australia debacle & watched with dismay the SP crumble over the years, so many have tried to big this up with jam tomorrow stories & I'm now starting to wonder what jam tomorrow actually means. On the face of it the company has progressed yet after all this time the markets say different & that for me is the only thing i really believe.
Funny in a sence how the prev BOD are now being recognised a crock of s### but how will the new BOD react with the cash, will it be off to the sweetie shop, snouts in trough etc.
If ever there was a share stuck in neutral this is it, trouble is when it eventually does find a gear it'll probably be reverse.
Couldn't agree more, somewhere down the line we've been had to the point i'm now hoping this recovers to 10p so i can get out with only a little over half of my stake though i feel even this is optimistic & the ship has sailed.
I fully expect this to be down Monday unless an RNS drops, why would the market give anything away on current form.
Market loves it, almost back to where we started in no time at all.
In addition there all whoop whoop whooping over on ukog site so if this is such a gud deal for solo why are they all acting like xmas has come early ?
don't get me wrong, i want this to recover as much as anyone, just thankful I've not been dumb enough to sink anymore into this, I wouldn't even say we've reached a cross roads, I'm getting a better return out of my electric vehicle.
A 7 wk blip does not qualify as a long term upward trend to restore market confidence, you only have to look at the charts to know this is one hell of a risk even at these levels.
