We did get a 7am RNS and while it is another positive update confirming everything’s still on track at BP, it’s not the reason behind someone throwing £1.7M plus at VAST on Friday alone.

There’s something else going on that has not been made public I feel.

Someone bought almost 900M shares in Vast on Friday

I had a look though the trades for the day, albeit I could only go back to 10:27am so not sure what happened before then.

From 10:27 am to market close there were 87 trades of 10M and looking at the prices paid, most if not all were buys. That's 870M shares potentially, not even counting the numerous 7.5M trades and the 37.5M trade.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that's £1.74M at an average of .20 if they're all buys that someone has thrown at VAST. Someone with that kind of money to invest generally doesn't take a punt without knowing something.

Something is definitely cooking in the VAST kitchen.

Awaiting the 7am trigger for an RNS on Monday.

To be fair even without an RNS it's still gong to be interesting to see what happens when the bell rings at 08:00.

340M times say .21 avearge = £714,000

That's a lot of cash to throw at something on the off chance.
