2*500k sells followed by 2*500k buys . They both look like paired trades , and could be 2 Bed and ISA type transactions
No conclusion but somehow interesting :-)
I think I did say this before, but the Coro asset is coming up nicely and looks to integrate and supplement their existing gas assets
There dont look to be any technical challenges (which ZEN have a poor record with), only the usual regulatory approvals . Any idea of its profitability?
nearly a hundred of them, buys and sells
- a sign its bottoming out
- or a malfunction algo
I would say a majority of trades are algo trades. Just been paging through it
If you look at the LSE website (not this one) there are is a large number of algo driven small trades . This is being gamed somehow . Also IMO the larger offbook trades are sells, so there is a also a big seller , maybe just one. It could mean anything - change of strategy perhaps
If you are a PI (like me) you just have to ride it out. If you have been in PMO its pretty similar
I said "Transaction must have closed at 17.17 " which is an assumption, becasue its much bigger than any other transaction. Thats how brokers manage it
Thats just the closing time of the transaction. A big transaction like that is usually reported after hours . It doesnt indicate when it was opened. It was probably a number of sells throughout the day
I think Sea7 is probably right - 25 January was the date it was reported by the news agency, picked up from a statement of accounts . But the report only validates what we already know and it was probably deemed a failure long ago
Big dump for 654.02k. Transaction must have closed at 17.17 , thats why it was showing as a buy
sea7 its google translate
well a million shares in ZEN dont cost as much as they used to . Pocket change ;-)
nice find oiltap, looks like a bit of a grind (90 days!)
they could only apply for a mining licence once the Mineral Resource Estimate as complete . The JORC 2012 RNS was on 21 August. At that point CB said they intend to apply for a mining licence .
My guess is they applied after the placing on the 18th of October, to show the company is well capitalised and can proceed with production. That plus the offtake agreement
So any moment now...
thats not new - production has been marginally declining, no well intervention to date has managed to reverse this . Thats why the SP is what it is. Some wells were barely producing and have been shutdown, they were probably uneconomical to operate if someone did the sums
Hi Tiger you are right, I didn't read that correctly ;-)
Kashi'tu is located in the Kabwe Mining Licence , which was owned by EPL
sarge: They have a good asset where they can increase production
exactly how can they do this since all efforts so far haven't borne fruit. Is it one last heave ? I agree that the Azer asset is probably not saleable. It would be easier for any prospective buyer to do what ZEN did in the first place - let old agreements lapse then try their luck
But ZEN own a big rig. Whats the rig rental market like ?
Ezhik: The Djeno bit should be attacked from a new well, namely 104.
I think you are right there. Reworking damaged wells is pretty pointless as we have seen in Azer. New wells or bust!!
well as per the placing RNS , the money is for " including an application and related environmental and licence transfer activities for a small-scale mining permit for Star Zinc and exploration on Kashi'tu. "
- licences transfer from exploration to mining Star Zinc
- possibly an environmental approval for the above
- exploratory application for Kashi'itu
I am sure CB will enlighten us someday....
yes I agree . Maybe CB is getting an exploratory licence for Kashatu as well.
In theory they dont need another placing . Overheads should be just an office right. No major expenses on the table (maybe under, who knows). They could even ride a out a few more months
But the SP is drifting . Maybe its just the delay
yeah 27000 ZMW= GBP 143.327 official fees - thats really for a small scale two bit local operation.
I bet there are 'points' being raised about classification and paperwork
