Rob - completely agree with your wise strategy.
the issue is there are peeps who
1. are expecting quick rises and then sell out
2. suddenly find they need the money and have to sell
3. who just cannot face seeing any further losses because they have over invested.
i was thinking of adding sub 10p and i still think i will BUT if i do i might risk falling in cat 3 should it continue to fall after my next tranche. i might just end up hovering over the buy button without buying.

It would have been v useful if we had been given some information about costs. they are clearly making some profit.
The RNS in July stated costs were US$1,637 per ounce. The current gold price is US$1,674 per ounce. margins are v tight.
If we think gold is going up, then this should fly at some point. GLA
We have all been here before, though there is more "security" in our belief that this will be huge.
I have already (as per previous post) accepted that this would/could drift lower (temporarily). This takes any stress out of the investment! still big in here. GLA
A long-time holder; have been building a position. Not sure whether this is the catalyst for massive re-rate but the rerate will come.
1. The board are a bunch of accountants. They know how to run a business. they will not just give away equity.
2. they have been v clear about their strategy and timelines even at the outset.
3. this is a huge resource.
DYOR. this is a sleeping giant.
OMI is grossly undervalued. I am convinced we will see many, many multiples of this.
A lot of peeps have perhaps bought hoping for a quick ride to 30-40p.
No quick multi-bagger unless news comes thick and fast. With OMI news lands suddenly and there is no warning!
I say buy what you want now and hold. Long term 13-14p is good. However, in the coming weeks/months 10p cannot be ruled out nor can 20p. OMI is a patience game. GLA
this will pushed down as far and hard as possible and then at some point it will recoil. maybe a few days, weeks or a month.
but it will recoil.
peeps want to sell and buy in cheaper. fair play. its not the first time that this has happened and wont be the last.
decide whether you trade or invest.
Agree with you Vicjain. I have never felt more comfortable and confident with my holding. It is great to get the first big hole out the way. lets not forget there is still so much drilling to go. lots of places untouched. And for investors (like me), i know i am not going to get diluted along the way - that is always my fear when investing.
I actually don't care if this gets to 20p or 25p or pulls back today. I am here for the long term. The next year has to be exciting.

given that this had dropped down to 7p, I was always expecting the rise to stall momentarily around 11-13p. It always happens. the fact that it has held is hugely positive. I am not a chartist but i have seen this many times.
Its always nice to see quick rises but i am in no rush. i want to see the RNS that tells me what is in the ground. then the fun will start. GLA.
