Why would they flow test A3 if the gas reserves are sub-optimal?

Surely it would be better to flow test A2?

It has not been discussed, but it is in ENOG's interest to conduct a flow test at A2, even if they prefer not to proceed with FID. They are sitting on a valuable discovery, and it is in their best interests to maximize its value for sale.

Should they decide to walk away, they will have sunk approximately £40-50 million for nothing. Invest another £40-50 million to flow test A2 and they can sell their Lixus percentage for multiples, or proceed to develop FID.

Leveraging an immediate flow test at A2 is quite a strong lever.

The conclusion of A3 also does not rule out a return to A2.

Can you explain the comments made by the CEO of ENOG regarding the gas price?

His exact words were:

"The negotiations WE WILL HAVE TO HAVE with the Moroccan government..."

Why would they flow test at a location (A3) that will not be used to produce ?

The FEED had proposed producer wells at A1 and A2

If ENOG is still interested (as per the most recent ENOG CEO comment regarding gas prices, they are), then why wouldn't they head back to A2 to perform a flow test?

Could they be waiting for permission?

Is it too early to be using leverage to finalize the gas pricing before the flow test?
