Some councils want to cut down tree lined streets in order to save money, but Mr Jenrick confirms plans to stipulate that every new street should be tree-lined unless there are exceptional reasons, which is good to see.
One of the main benefits of the new shift system is to reduce or do away with overtime, but the fact that they are gearing up in expectation of orders bodes well. People have been paying off debts and may go on a spending splurge over Christmas. The company have an AI department that collate info from customers to get a better understanding of the type of fashion customers want.
The company is very different from 18months ago, £millions have been invested automating inbound and out bound processes. People have been cross trained in the out bound department, so if there is a spike in orders people are brought in within minutes to get the stuff out. The new shift system is being rolled out so people can order later and receive goods next day, it also means that peak periods over summer and Christmas can be dealt with.
All the modules in returns are full, those still furloughed, were there are no places are either moving onto the late shift to picking or packing or will probably be made redundant. Staff are being taken on from Littlewoods which closes this ,month and they are recruiting via Mach. Sunday shift has restarted, there is overtime every day, which the company intend to do away with because of the cost ( staff were earning £32000 a year working all the overtime on offer).
The company are selling a lot more branded goods . I recall 10-15yrs ago, the Times commenting that no one would buy our products outside the board room, and that the company was going nowhere, well that looks to be changing.
Those people being recruited have been told they can take part in the bonus scheme which only kicks in if the company makes a profit of £125m before exceptionals
The new management look to be making all the right moves.

My brother contacted Manchester council to inform them about PHE, the council told him that they were already aware of PHE, so if there is interest from Manchester then I'd expect the surrounding six towns would follow suit. Fairview built their first liquid air plant in Bury to produce and store energy from methane from the waste disposal tip at Heywood. Fairview are building the world first liquid air battery Trafford.

I think that apps like Trade212 are a good thing, I know of four who use this where I work and if this is replicated nation wide then more and more people are trading or investing which boosts market values, better this that gambling on online Pink casinos et al.
Powerhouse believes that with Peel as the exclusive UK developer, a target of at least 30 DMG sites around the UK should be achievable; 30 operational sites would generate c £15.0m in annual licence fees. There is also potential to generate licence revenues from DMG installations outside the UK.

Why would PHE have a placing, DR says he is concentrating on getting the first DMG up and running there shouldn't be any need for a placing. Once the takeover has been agreed I would hope that Peel announces that they are applying for planning permission to build a further two DMGs.
There are only two companies that I know of that produce genuine graphene as opposed to graphite and they are Versarien and Paragraf , Sunpower haven't got a hope in hell of producing efficient solar panels anytime soon, which is why VDTK are so unique.
BWNG are restarting the Sunday shift mid July, agency furloughed from returns are back at work but are being retrained on picking and packing. Customers are keeping more Items and this is an on going trend reducing the need for people in the returns department and the quality and styling of our goods markedly improved. There is plenty of overtime, the new shift system starts September, and according to an article in the Telegraph they are expecting more of a V shape recovery in the economy. I think that the company is gearing up to do very well next year.
Peel own around 26% of intu, the Trafford Center which is the jewel in the crown, Peel are expected to take advantage of the situation and regain ownership of the Trafford Center so not a problem. I think Peel have already sold some of their assets.
I liked the fact that Peel are taking on the responsibility of financing and developing the first 24 sites screened by Powerhouse and that this frees up PHE to develop the international side who will be focused on the technical issues. Thai SPA will roll out the DMG in Thailand?
