PRTY,Hi debbie founnd out this info on 26M trade, dont completely understand or know whether it is acurate or not. 26million was a UT(uncrossing trade) 26m is the total closing auction volume so whether its a buy or a sell is not applicable or relevant cos you always need a buyer AND a seller in the auction! Definition: Uncrossing Trade This is used for the single uncrossing trade, detailing the total executed volume and uncrossing price as a result of a SETS auction. Chris
LGB, Interims should be out on 26th so expect RNS on 27th...... Good luck
PRTY,Still a reasonable hand Ongame shrugs off slowdown in float talks Good poker players know how to make the best of what looks a bad hand. Richard Segal, the PartyGaming boss, has seen the company's shares come down like a house of cards since he remarked 10 days ago that "the rate of growth is continuing to moderate". Strangely, none of his rivals around the table seem to have noticed the same thing. Nigel Payne at Sportingbet, John Anderson at 888.com and Patrik Selin at Sweden's Ongame say they are flusher than ever with punters willing to sit up half the night, losing their (pyjama) shirt. They are not bluffing either, even if Sportingbet could do with a strong share price to pursue its bid for Empire Online, while 888 and Ongame are looking at London floats. Instead, the slowdown looks a PartyGaming problem, as smaller rivals chip away at its market share. PartyGaming's main site still has 45pc of the market, while its nearest rival PokerStars has just 7pc. Maintaining such dominance is proving eye-wateringly expensive, as highlighted by the last half-year's 251pc rise to $52m in "customer acquisition and retention" costs. There could be a cheaper way, though. The ace in Mr Segal's hand is that the fallout from PartyGaming's problems has whacked the valuations of everyone else, forcing 888 to cut its float price. With PartyGaming throwing off pots of cash, Mr Segal still holds the "nuts", with by far the strongest balance s
PRTY, £40M sells after time... According to ADVFN website there were around 40M sells and no buys after time. Could that be right?... Included a £26 million SELL type UT whatever that may be? Anyone throw some light on it ? what opening price can we expect on entering FTSE monday ?
PSD, Debbie, i totally agree with you, it is like the shares were purchased after the 7th, maybe there was a delay in posting for some reason. Can you access previous trade listings ?? I have gone back to 1st sept and there are no significant trades that come anywhere near these amounts, .. none of this makes any sense to me!! I have found all my trades in the listings, i tend to buy by cost rather than quantity , so the uneven amounts tend to show up easily, as with the 617,042 above
PSD, Debbie ... me being a bit stupid, I just want to clarify that the RNS is confirmation of a BUY in holdings in PSD,. If this is true then the trades above are a BUY not a SELL. I have looked at the trade listings for the last 3 days and the above trades have a ? by them not a SELL . The trades correspond to the RNS !!! P.s these were the only major trades in the last few days so they were easy to spot.
PSD,If this is a BUY, they relate directly to the SELLS above on the recent trades. DGM, anyone know why price is dropping after a positive RNS on wednesday
PRTY, 12 million(ord) buy after hours.
HHO, KM's Stop loss, has anyone tried to work out what KM has paid out for his holdings as the share price is slipping away. A quick calc maybe 2.2 ave. I can only go back 21 days to calc maybe someone has accurate data ? I cannot work out how we were at 4.6 in anticipation of KM buyout, then the board make a nothing statement, dropping to 3.2, then announcement we were waiting for stateing Km is now on the board. Price goes to 3.8 ( wow!! ) and now to 3. Maybe someone with trading experience can explain to me the obvious as i am scratching my head
HHO, after dipping in and out for the last few weeks i was about evens, then the announcement we were all waiting for came and i jumped in a little late un-beknown at 3.8 expecting continuing highs, the rest is history. Still in now and dont know whether to sell or hold. Also into PRTY and IDD. I must have one of the worst portfolios around at the minute. As a new investor i am a little disheartened, not to mention well down in funds. Any advice would be extremely gratefull.

HHO... Announcement Disposal of South African contract publishing operations. is this good or bad for share price ??
PRTY... hi debbie... I sold prty on friday when the price came back, then doubled my shares in HHO after the 15:30 plunge.... Going to have a restless night now in anticipation, hoping for an early rise to give us a breather, whether an announcement or not
PRTY...GedW all gone quiet on this, is it still a strong buy in anticipation of 6 mths results due on tuesday? 888 have announced they are going to float in the near future, how do you go about buying shares? do you have to wait until they appear on the market? how do you find out what day, hour, minute you can buy..... i would imagine a dead cert on this one when you look at the results from other online casinos! By the way thank you all very much for your valuable advice, much appreciated as a newcomer
HHO... GedW.. do you know if there is any significant delay from us seeing an announcement on the Stock Exchange website to the guys on the floor, in other words once we see an announcement is it too late to act on it !!... kind regards
HHO...."Shrs Plunge On Company Warning" at 1626 How would you explain the 2 buys; 16:50 @ 4.29 and 16:57 @ 4.15 when the 16:30 close was at 3.77.. None of this seems to add up to me!!! Does anyone know what to expect on opening monday, if no announcements are made??
HHO, Hi GedW.. So what you are saying is that, because KM has 20% holdings, even the smallest buy/sell he now makes he has to notify the LSE....So would it not be in his best interests to get as close to the 29.99% marker in the one trading day, because after any announcements are made the share prices are going to rise and he will then have to pay more to top up... I take it he could buy in dribs and drabs during the day and then just announce the total aquired. Also if he bought on friday it could as late as tuesday 5pm before we get any announcements. Kind regards from very nervous newcomer.
I take it the late buy of 8,600,000 (just under 3% holding) is what you do to keep a low profile then ???
