I just pop back to this site occasionally out of interest and wonder if it will continue now mml has delisted. As mentioned, I'm still in touch with Graftman through our mutual horse interest. Funny enough, I'm fairly sure he reckoned mml would bottom at about 88 - must ask him. I'm completely out at present, but 88 might be a good re-entry point. My problem is that I reckon the management are a bunch of t****rs who seem to not give a s**t about the shareholders - purely a personal opinion of course but, if any of them happen to read this site, I'm open to persuasion otherwise - won't hold my breath though. Good luck all you diehards.
Thought you were lost forever. Don't know what AX price is, but I'd bet it'll be less than the last price here. Wondering if you've actually gone over to AX, and if you'll still speak to us when you're rich (or richer). Will post you again on here - assuming it's still here - if Grafty and I come up with any "good thing". Best wishes.
I'm completely out of mml now and third degree burns to fingers are healing nicely. Very best wishes to you guys in future - feels like the ww11 POW's splitting up after an escape! If you're ever interested in keeping in touch, Graftman and I are in daily contact on LSE Share Chat - General Chat - Horses for Courses and, between us we've had some good winners lately. We'd always be glad to hear from you.
Hello - HELLO! - IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE??? Blimey where's everyone gone? Feels like that film where the bloke wakes up and finds he's the only person left in the world. Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know that I've taken the plunge and dumped the last of these crap shares (sorry - can I say crap on here?). You must all try it - it's a wonderful feeling of freedom. No more disappointments, no more nasty shocks, no more excuses - feels like I've come out of a bout of depression. Reckon when they go on to the ASX or whatever, they should rename this thing Titanic Mining. I've made a note to try and find whatever forum mml is on in a year or two's time just to see if it's anywhere near the equivalent of a quid and if anyone's still waiting for the big upturn. Best of luck to anyone sticking with this lot. Hope your rich - I reckon you'll need to be.
As many of you will already appreciate, I have no idea whatsoever about the technicalities of dealing and, as already mentioned, whilst trying to find this site the other day, came across another forum where some of the comments relating to mml were chronic. Three in particular that I wonder if anybody has any ideas about were - firstly, that whilst the delisting is in progress, you won't be able to sell your shares for eight weeks - second, the mml mine is played out and - thirdly, the new mill will only have limited beneficial effect on production because the ore is now of poor quality. As mentioned before - I am now only holding a small amount of this stock, bought at a ridiculous price, but am now considering dumping that too. By the way, the forum in question was on advn or something similar - some of you may know it.
There you go - another 20% on your dosh. After these two, your original 5k would've been 8,400 quid. My guess is you'll not get that kind of return on mml in a month of Sundays
Not one to say "toldya so" but toldya so - 40% on your money yesterday in a few minutes. Annie Power today at Punchestown - 20% on your money. Mind you - don't blame me if it gets turned over! Had trouble finding this site today and accidentally found another site with mml chat. Some of the contributors there who SEEMED to know their onions were scathing about mml's prospects.
Anyone getting into mml for the first time today at 90ish just MIGHT - at some stage - turn a profit but - to me - this just seems to be a badly run company that shows no concern for it's shareholders. As I've said before, the low production costs and the new mill will imo have no implications on the sp as they have long ago been factored into today's prices. When the mill actually started up a short while back someone posted BOOOM! - no, not really - more like plop. The way things have gone for a long time now there are just as likely to be further disappointments and excuses. Again, as I've said before, I reckon the only thing that's going to move the sp upwards to any great extent is a sharp rise in the pog, which doesn't look like coming. I'm still in touch with Graftman on another site and reckon he could be out of mml - that's good enough for me, On the other hand, subject to it winning of course, you can get a 40% return on your dosh this afternoon on Mullins star hurdler at Punchestown. There's more chance of that happening than getting the same profit on mml in the foreseeable future. As I mentioned the other day, I've dumped practically all of this stock apart from some that I hold at a ridiculous price which I'm just going to forget and look at again in a few years time - don't expect it to be worth what I paid for it even then. Best wishes to everyone else who stays or gets involved.
Annie Power probably runs Punchestown Saturday. At 1/6 current forecast odds is as close to a certainty over the jumps as you'll get. Always assuming it wins, that's a quick return of sixteen percent on your money, which I reckon is better than you'll get on mml in the foreseeable future. As for knocking this share now - I have to ask you to trawl back through my posts on this site. I've been saying this things a lemon since Noah pulled up the gang plank on the Ark. The sp on this thing has gone from over 520 to it's price today - under a quid. It's shipped over 80% of it's one time value - brilliant. At every rate from 499 down, you'll probably find someone posting what a great "long term" investment it is. If I had a pound for every comment about the mill doubling output, no debt, low production costs etc etc I'd probably be money in front but, as I've said before, none of that was any secret and the sp was the sp regardless. Just after the Ukraine thing flared up - and I reckoned because of that - the sp jumped to 138 or thereabouts. Don't even thin about 200 - it needs to increase by nearly 50% to be back to where it was then. Perhaps someone could ring Vlad and ask him to shoot down an American plane. Now. on top of all of the excuses, the bod decide to delist - how spiffing. Where's my Racing Post - let's find something sensible to do with my dosh.
Brilliant! As a kid, always promised myself one when I grew up. Enthusiasm became tempered when I kept falling off me bike - which was a three wheeler. Business contact of mine who deals in classic cars told me that he bought a 750cc classic bike the other day - think it may be a Triumph Bonneville, does that sound right?
Sorry mate - I'm computer illiterate, how do I find it?
Module yesterday - like I said before, don't have jumps to worry about on the flat. I backed it thinking the going was a lot softer than it turned out so didn't fancy our chances even before the race started although, in the event, must've gone close with Hidden Cyclone and Somersby out of the race. Pleased to see Sizing win though - done me many favours over the years - nearly had a saver when I saw the ground. Don't fancy anything today - card looks very disappointing. Just taken evens about Quevega for tomorrow and the other Mullins star Vautour due out Friday. Annie Power has a choice of the Champion or going for the mares where she is 1/6 - still a better return than mml.
pv - as previously mentioned, wish you and everyone else staying with this lot very best of luck. My problem is that if you look back, it seems to me that it's always been a case of "next year". Knowing the way I've gone with this thing, it probably will have jumped by next year but my patience has run out - too many excuses. Orphan - again best of luck - but how long is long term? Trawl through the archives and you'll find a hell of a lot of people saying "long term" over the past few years yet, despite all the blah blah about no debt, low production costs, doubling production etc etc - here it is under a quid. If you want a suggestion, take one of your 20k tranches and stick it on Mullins super novice at Punchestown. It may lose but, at least the pain will be over quicker than suffering all of the mml disappointments. If you'd done that yesterday, you could have had over a 70% return on your money overnight.
Love an optimist - trouble is, been listening to similar stories for god knows how long and here we are at 95. At one time someone said that, once the new mill was up and running, we'd see five quid (last anyone heard of him, he reckoned he was Napolean). Good luck to you and all ye other faithful - as for me, I'm outta here. Don't worry though - will continue with the horse info 'till delisting - you've probably got more chance of a profit.
Reckon you could be right with Module. Beaten twice by Somersby who - at the weights - should win, but he very rarely does. Ground looks better for Module plus Geraghty has to be a plus. Happy with the 8/11 I took Faugheen yesterday - looked awesome at Cheltenham. Horses chat room sounds good idea, but don't ever mention shares to me again unless you've got a cert.
Seem to recall some time back one or two were barracking you for saying that this would go down to a quid - strangely silent now. The Man United fans should think themselves lucky they got Moyes and not the muppets running this business - they'd have ended up in the Conference. Got involved in this fiasco a few years back after reading the Mail's correspondent writing what a great management team were running the company - yeah right! Wouldn't I like to get my hands on that pillock. Enough's enough - better things to do with my time and money - dumped the lot this morning. Will have to find a way to keep in touch over more sensible things like the horses - any suggestions? Don't ever want to hear the word Medusa again. I've even thrown away my dvd of the hammer film The Gorgon and Clash of the Titans.
Many thanks - something about mml at last, although it sounds like we should prepare for more excuses as to why we should prepare ourselves to be disappointed yet again. Suggestions? Stop wasting our time and hard earned dosh and dump it! ArielArrow - Grafty and I welcome somebody who has his priorities in order. Kempton 3.40 - Criteria 11/8 p*ssed it. BTW - your handle stirs nostalgic memories of a great '60s motorbike - wonder if you knew that.
Apart from jollyspec, still no share chat. Faugheen going tomorrow - looked a champion at Cheltenham. If the post Cheltenham form collapse doesn't strike looks a snip at 8/11 available today. Fortunately, Treve at 3/10 was too short to back against Cirrus yesterday - would've jumped in at 1/2 but there'll be plenty of 1/3 shots to back that ain't taking on a horse like Cirrus who's still one of the best in the world over 10 furlongs on soft. Regardless of what might happen down the line, wonder if you reckon now's the time to bail out on mml?
Sorry mate - wossat mean? As mentioned earlier - thinking of taking the pill and dumping this mml lark - seems like a lot of bovver for something that don't look like going nowhere. Am I right in thinking you agree?
Re last post - Mullins has, among many others, the two Cheltenham novice stars, and both Annie and Quevega declared at Punchestown. The latter two are both in the same race over three miles - reckon he'll stick with Quevega in that one. .Looks like being some week. Still waiting to hear anything from anyone about mml or gold. Everyone must finally agree with what I said months ago - this mml's a lemon, and loads of us have done our dosh.
