They have to notify the market on anything that affects the SP. IMO, starting proppant squeeze is price sensitive so they should notify the market of the start date.

Dubman, some of us are expecting a positive TU because CC & TP said so in last investor presentation:

* Aiming for sustainable profitability towards the end of 2022, but this does not negate profitability in 2021 which is possible, (see Q16 in below presentation)

They cannot achieve sustainable growth in 2022 unless they improve on 2020 for 2021.

I am surprised the SP dropped leading to the TU (the day after tomorrow!).

With stronger performance expected it does not make sense!

Not much volume though so it seems that buyers are waiting for the TU. But if the TU is indeed as good as expected the SP will jump, now is the time to buy/add IMO.

Torreaguas, I make that £4,188,375 in the first 6 months for 5 MMSCFD @ 90p a therm.

However, correct me if am wrong, but as per my understanding the 5 MMSCFD is without the new well in place. If the new well is drilled before start then they aim to ramp up production up to 10 MMSCFD.

10 MMSCFD will give to Angus twice the amount stated above (£8,376,750 for 6 months) :)

Pauly, I am not sure which RNS you are referring to because the last CLON RNS was in June and the YLB announcement that they selected 9 companies is dated 7 July.

I did btw emailed Clontarf with a ling to the YLB announcement and asking them to confirm to the market whether or not we are one of the 9 companies selected.

With respect to things happening in Ghana, I take it you rate not aware of the Antibribery Act 2010. Unless you are a politician (as recent events with the crocked Conservatives proved) you are not allowed to receive gifts or give gifts, which may be considered as bribery. This law has world wide applicability and can land you in jail if you receive, OR GIVE, bribes (gifts of value).

I suggest you listen to the YouTube video of David in 2019 (link in my post below) where he specifically mentions that Clon refused to give a bribe to the Ghanaian government at the time (and rightly so) - IMO the reason it has taken so long.

Fingers crossed Ocelot. I believe we should be firmly above 1p within a couple of weeks, it certainly looks ready for an explosion in volume.

There has been some decent buying activity recently that pushed the SP above the sub-0.9p range, good volumes but we had no RNS and therefore is not the BOD that has been doing the buying.

The question is, if is not the BOD then who is it? The buying activity suddenly arrived and this is interesting - another TR-1?

I would prefer that RNS to drop when the SP is circa 1.5p, but if it comes now still happy :)

YLB selects 9 companies for direct extraction of lithium

The president of Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos (YLB), Marcelo Gonzales, reported yesterday that nine companies were selected for the Direct Extraction of Lithium (EDL), through the call that was launched in April.

"To our launch of call have come potential candidates who have the technology in the EDL (...). There are nine companies that are selected right now, so they are going to sign that memorandum," he said.

He explained that the conditions that YLB requires will be established such as performance, lower water consumption, lower environmental impact and operating costs.

"We are going according to the times, we are now in the elaboration of memorandums of understanding, confidentiality agreements, the issue of patents and everything. So, once we have the results, we will make them known," he said.

In this regard, the YLB executive explained that the call was launched to identify lithium direct extraction technologies, taking into account that around six types of EDL are currently known.

"What we are looking for is a technology to extract lithium directly from the brine (...). It has been selected (the companies) according to experience (...) to also ensure that a good result is had," he said.

Pauly, no worries, I understand how you feel after waiting this long.

The fact is though that Clontarf is indeed awaiting ratification of the Tano 2A block. I do not believe for a second that this is not true, is just that this is outside their control and I believe that this will be sorted out one way or another in due course after Covid. I suggest another read of the yearly report.

With raising £500k every 18 months you cannot really accuse them of being a lifestyle company … take a look at some of the AIM salaries, ~£500k is only the CEO’s salary for a year!
