James/Mirasol, current Knowe holding is 6.26%. The moment they sell 2.5 mil shares they will cross the 6% threshold and they will then need to declare.

Is it really worth bothering about, not just Knowe but anybody, selling 2.5 mil shares? It can easily be absorbed with no impact on the SP.

Cloves, this is what bothers me, he did say at that time that news on the North Sea acquisition will be out“shortly”. And this after the interviewer suggested news “imminently”. Simon did not deny “imminently” he just went along to say news “shortly”.

I think EOG needs to clarify exactly what is happening here. He has announced that a “material” (price sensitive) event is happening and that news on this will be announced shortly.

If the situation with the North Sea acquisition has changed and will not close “shortly” then he should be making another announcement to clarify this.

I think this is what AIM Regulations are dictating?

We should be getting an update early December but If they are winning awards they should be announcing them when they occur. Also, new product launches, including CBD should also be announced - it doesn’t have to be an RNS, a tweet will do. We should suggest this to them in next investor meeting.

James, I don’t think that there is any forward selling. A TR-1 will be filed on or after 5th November. I don’t see Knowe doing anything illegal right now because if they forward sell now they will then have to lie on the TR-1 by declaring that they have shares that they forward sold. They have to declare these allocated shares on a TR-1, since they are already above notification threshold, otherwise questions will be asked, I guarantee you that :)

Anyway, the SP is still under upwards bias and will move up in my opinion. Current quotes:

Buy 500k shares @ 1.0345p
Sell 500k shares @ 1.0125p

Very tight spread even though the bid is at 0.95p. I think it dropped to 0.95p due to the large 1 mil sells. The bid should move back up again.

Serif, the language changed from “news shortly” used in the presentation to “news in the coming months” used in the report. Not much difference if you consider “shortly” to mean “coming months”. Anyway, this assumption might be correct but I think it requires confirmation from EOG, else the pressure on the SP will in my opinion remain.

Serif, fair points, but how do you come to the conclusion that there will be no placing? The North Sea acquisition has not yet been clarified, or am I missing something?

Overall as expected - nothing we don’t already know about but nothing on North Sea acquisition? , or have I missed it?

I didn’t find anything in it on the North Sea acquisition - how can Simon announce this many weeks ago and now nothing in the report?

Knowe has been part of Angus since IPO. They have a sizeable stake and they think like “INVESTORS” and not “TRADERS”.

Knowe wants Angus to succeed, they have a lot riding in it. Knowe did what is best for Angus (and Knowe).

I believe that Knowe expects the Angus SP to go to double digits.

On what logic/basis?

BV, is all good now. There are two things that could possibly cause a delay (1) EA and (2) equipment delivery (drivers).

GL seems to be more concerned about (2) than (1) and this is a good think - it implies that he is not concerned about EA approval, is in the bag.

As far as (2) is concerned, we got Brexit to thank for it, and the whole country has the same problem, even the supermarket shelves are empty. In any case, any delay due to (2) should be minor.

WG, 11.2 mil shares to secure the LCN extension is not bad at all. Also, Knowe will sit on these shares, they are not going to flog them in to the market. Watch for the TR-1, is coming soon.

The Knowe loan now will very likely be paid off with cash from the gas proceeds and avoid unnecessary dilution. All good.

BV, for some reason these guys are only happy when things are not going well for Angus - I don’t understand this.

As you know, I been with Angus for many years now. I was furious after the Brockham failure but quickly got over it and begun to average down. Currently about £50k under but I am confident that I will see a hefty profit. Is taken a very long time but we are almost there. Glad I averaged down, it will pay off.
