The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Please explain francobrett, why the nose dive now? Why will it recover later?
I don't either, is it MM crashing it so they can buy cheap, create panic selling?
Mass selling at 370. I don't get it either Price dropping
SaintPeter - Do you expect a big rise or some rise tomorrow as RNS is released? I have seen other go up 100% or more with release of annual accounts or even half-yearly accounts
The expected positive results are due out tomorrow, I don't get why anyone is selling now.
That is what I am wondering too. I have seen shares spike 100% or more on the release of positive results. I suspect if it does people will sell. But how much will this rise in the morning? :)
Colin - I hope this comes soon, as the volume of trade here has been really dismal for the last month. I don't think I will take profit here, all I want to do is to minimise my losses and move my cash to a better share.
//I would imagine that a number of people were disillusioned with the lack of production and updates in regards to the coal project which was greatly hyped.// This was something else I was told about, some gas thing in the US was due soon. What happened to that?
sanrevandamm, I am in the same situation. But luckily my share is small.
/ukog valued at 317m is a joke. im invested in a company that pays no tax, produces c2200bls of oil a day, its production costs are 14 dollars. its mkt value is 50m and has over 30m cash to hand.// Which company is that ISDEER? I just sold my UKOG on the Spike, it will drop a lot as extended flow test will take around 12/13 weeks as per their previous RNS.
Absolutely MrMagic, I did that with MSMN too after it spiked. Just out of interest are you invested here too and what are we waiting for in terms of time scale to drive this upwards?
During the last spike someone said this will be going beyond 1.2 and as the UKOG sales take place it will fly. I bought it around 0.86 I think. My choice seems - a) cut my losses and reinvest elsewhere b) wait a little and sell on the next rise to minimise losses c) wait for this to go beyon 0.9pence and run but that could be a long wait.
LMAO! @GodWilling
I got suckered into this, bought it in spikes. Wating and waiting! There is no trade here either. Someone tell me why I should still remain in here
No trade today, I was told after the UKOG sale it would go beyond 1.0 pence!
@GG - so the drop today because the DIV has been processed?
@GG - so the drop today because the DIV has been processed?
Crofty sorry I do not understand what you mean by this "you would then owe the 8p dividend per share to the lender." Who is the lender here? Who would owe who money?
Here is my example - If I hold 50000 shares at 15.0 pence. £7500.00 So I will get back in dividends 8 x 50,000 = £4000.00 My remaining shares 50000 x 7.00 = £3500 worth now as the drop in price due to the dividends.
Maybe a question for lawyers, any chance of recovering some of the share money if this goes into administration?
