Humbo, there is a potential chance the market will crash due to a lot of companies over priced. Not a lot of companies out there worth investing in right now. Warren Buffet current has $140 billion cash sitting on side lines waiting for a crash. Lek currently under priced traded under nav and has plenty of upside. Hence the billionaire bought 5%. The reason I derisked was because I has overextended and the rise this week presented an opportunity to sell stock at a considerable profit and sort my finances out. My remaining shares I can hold for the long term, which I believe is the 50p range. Good luck with your investment.

Defo troubled times ahead one of my main reasons for derisking. However not looking for any new investments this year due to a probable market crash. Indexes and shares are too high. One thing I have not forgotten is the Shell MOU, all conditions and due diligence has been met and we just waiting for final sign off. Another thing people have forgotten about is the cpr coupled with financing plus Shell , production should be quite way above 20000 bopd.

One of the pieces by Mirabaud from 2016 stating Lek should be 36p with its then plan of 20000 bopd was one of the papers that got me looking into calcs for lek and why I finally invested. So bank says our holdings are worth $184mill therefore they value lek currently at 34 cents per share which is 26p before any oil comes out of the ground. That is before we take in Shell deal. Institutions should really be looking at getting in, institutions tend to avoid Aim stocks due to governance. Once we get institutions invested no reason for this not to shoot past the targets envisioned. Another good day.

Wood, its remarkable that you and I share similarities, my initial job was with edward jones who back then set you up as a self employed client broker. They trained me for 6 months in the US. Back then UK head offices were in canary wharf????

Super, started trading in 91, my economics tutor at uni got me into it. I got the lek tip from Twitter, then followed up with research, previous research papers were very informative, and put money in. Last year made money on etx, and imm, all from twitter, all followed up with research. They were my only investments last year. All profits from etx and imm plus loan of £25k went into lek at various stages. Unfortunately missed the final rise on imm as sold at 16p during initial rise. Previous year it was Farn which I sold at 1.30p, but missed the massive rise this year. However that year lost on SNG and AST that year, sold at loss put whatever I had left into UKOg at 1.2 and sold at 2.8 recouping my loss. Ukog has died now. Also made a little on aaog, also dead now. I have been lucky to get out of shares before they tank. Watching tullow, need it to go down to about 30p still expensive. January is quiet so will take it easy and ride lek for a while until opportunity arises.
