I am sure iceberg will be along to give us laymen an explanation we can understand...
My take was a first hole is something of a shot in the dark, the most interesting info from the hole was to see the system is fertile. They can use the data from the hole and calibrate the geophysics and make a more informed decision for location and angle of next hole.
We don't know where along the hole they found the traces of fingers so it could be deeper than expected was one possiblity I took from it ?
Sounds good to me, mitigated or at least significantly reduced the risk that the SE anomaly was barren. We appear to have a fertile system, more drills to come to establish rough size and if the grades could be economic. Couldn't ask for more from a first hole into a new structure.
News and iceberg, I seem to recall you guys fell out at the beginning of 2021 and an agreement was struck to not comment on each others threads. I think news broke that agreement but may I suggest a return to status quo for the tranquility of the board ?
Let's see where this leads us Ice, we have been promised updated models etc, no point in jumping the gun and valuing anything before we have a nice and full data room, with our modeller guy just squeezed into the corner, in imminent danger of being crushed by assay results.
Got a meeting to do now so will monitor the board, I recommend not working projects with US and OZ participants as the meeting window is very small and not conducive to a work life balance !!
Iceberg, he knows the levers well enough, I have seen him get away 2 placings at supportive share prices and more importantly before liquidity dried up on AIM over the summer.
I seem to recall last broker note was end of 2020 I assume to support aquisition of BR or groundwork for the Jan 21 spike ?
I think he's waiting for concrete results from Africa first personally so expecting to see broker notes around year end. Timing would work well with where BR will be and what we need next.
Ella, Colin is just getting frustrated watching us re invent the wheel over and over again. In our case the wheel is the valuation of Bushranger, for avoidance of doubt lol
We don't have the data or expertise to do it (no offence to any here is intended)
Colin and the team are well incentivised (spelling?) thanks to the AGM, we know they will try and get best value from bushranger which in turn is to the benefit of us shareholders.
We have some views from the xtr team in terms of what the value could be, should we prove up 2 Mt, let's keep our eyes on those assays as they come in, dimensions and grades and track progress against that milestone best we can as PIs.
The bushranger site could also command a premium if ESG credentials can be established. Having access to the grid could open the door for electrification of the mining equipment and how many of these comparatives have power already running through the license area ?
Zero, this is a perennial topic for the board, which I also enjoy reading others views.
I am of the opinion BR is impossible to value untill we know what lies in the SE, and if Colin decides to extend the drilling further will be a good indication that value is increasing in a meaningful direction.
Iceberg and all, as always thanks for your contribution as it provides further talking points and I am learning all the time.
There are so many variables its really tough to calculate the value of the deposit, I find it interesting that Colin's view was in the 20s but we know he can be over optimistic ;-)

Was wondering about that exact same point and if the 3% In ground value that John Cornford used in his valuation (which most on the board felt was conservative) also accounts for a JORC using the inferred and indicated classification?
I was looking at 8 Vs 10 when buying and Dysons comments about the design of the battery and its chemistry convinced me to go for the more expensive model. So far so good ( 18 months intensive use), don't write them off completely, but your experience reflects what I have heard about earlier models.
Which one MF ? The 10 was the first where the battery technology is actually reliable to replace a cordless. Had no issues so far.
Actually quite interested in battery tech right now as just accepted a job with a eVTOL design company here in the UK. Hanging my coat on electrification and urban mobility lol
I am sure GGP had its doubters at the beginning re amount of drilling required, and no doubt that put PIs off. Still ended up being a very lucrative investment for those in early.
My hope (not a mining professional) is that less intensive drilling is required here Vs following an ore body and due to the large and typically consistent grades of a Porphyry mean we can extrapolate with better accuracy and reach an inferred resource with less drilling. I am sure news had some examples to draw comparison with. I don't think Xtract are going to comission a PFS so the amount of drilling required by the purchaser will work its way out in the sale price imo.
Thoughts from the more experienced here ?
