What's the general view here? There was the crash last autumn down to 40p or so, rapid retrace to just shy of £1 and now a persistent gradual falling again, albeit still someway off the low. I bought in on the original retrace last year at 78p. Now thinking of topping up to average down, on the assumption that once the FCA investigation is finally behind them we could be looking at quickly getting above £1 again. Anyone else thinking now could be good time to top-up? Or indeed that now would be a good time to sell?
Have decided to sell my entire holding today now that the short-term high of around 222p has been reached again - got a 20% profit overall and was frankly getting a bit fed up of the investment not working hard enough the last few months. Better opportunities to invest in at the moment, but may revisit Devro if it falls back towards the 210p level again.
Well this is depressing . Almost back at my buy in price of 77p. Should sold when it hit 99p within a few days. Looks like it's going to be a long haul . Hope the FCA matter gets cleared up sooner than later
I just topped up significantly at 720p as i feel this has drifted down enough pre announcement now and tech stocks have taken enough battering the last few days. Time will tell! I've not heard any negative news/chat about expectations for the future for this company, although that's not to say there isn't any.
I agree. I've been topping up steadily since my misstep selling out too early this time last year. My 2nd highest individual share holding now behind Nanoco (I have a soft spot for that stock although one needs the patience of a saint for the anticipated take off !). BGEO is in such a sweet spot geopolitically . Nice long term hold to supplement the pension although I may be tempted to take some profits if it hits 4000.
I'm thinking of topping up again Doze after the recent downward drift. I'm still bullish about this company and am sure it has £30 plus in its legs. Never much good at timing the change in sentiment with these things!
