Never mind market caps look at cash and cash equivalents they have access to ! On the 30th June 2018 they had $584 million cash $288 million shares in treasury They also have access to the bond markets and I belive renegotiated earlier this year ! They have the fire power if they wanted us they can have us ! At £2.5 / share I’m happy to move on but at significantly less than that, I would rather wait for 35,000 BOPD and cash my dividends!

Agree LC! But also to point out that it’s not just sailing stone who were sellers in recent months but I believe another institution has also reduced their holding by approximately 1-2 % ! Hopefully once they are done and we start seeing operational progress, things should start to improve in terms of SP!

Agreed LC! I think September should be a very interesting month one way or another ! With half yearly results, formal deal completion and getting nearer to SE Asia drilling campaign in Q4! Also as you say, news on Tanzania and Fortuna! Would be very surprised if we closed September at around this price !

Also sale of Tanzania alone should wipe off debt and take us back to a net cash position! I especially like what’s happening in SE Asia and would really like another acquisition or 2 over there! My previous SE oiler was Coastal Energy who got purchased for multiples of what I bought for!

Yes but on a 7 million share trading day ! Sailing stone won’t be the only one in the market ! Assuming they decide to sell a million shares / day it’ll take around 4 weeks (20 trading days to disappear) ! I’m happy knowing that beginning of Q4 we should be much higher! If they want to sell out completely , they can sell within the next 6 weeks ! I can’t see it taking longer than that !

Following yesterday’s RNSs I’m feeling much better about my investment here ! At least now I know why we have been going down! Initially this drop was making no sense! Hopefully once they get rid of their remaining shares then normal market dynamics can start to work and normal business can be resumed! This was making no sense to me ! Why would a company with OPHRs assets be valued at such a low market value ! The whole thing was getting me down! But happy to see an explanation!

Bertie I think 200p would be a p155 take!! We can get there on our own without a takeover by early 2019 IMO! 250p+ might just be enough to convince holders ! You are right! If you think they can SELL ALL 20 million shares in 1 go then you really don’t know much about trading or investing! 1 order that big would have taken us to less than 10p!!!!!!!! No market maker would be able to work that order through with the low trading volume!

That’s because they still haven’t sold all their shares ! If all shares were sold on the 14th they would have stated a big fat ZERO! They are drip feeding and I believe the 50,000 sale yesterday was them also ! The good thing is that they only have 20 million remaining down from around 70 million ! This explains a lot !!! Soon they will be completely sold and we can start to move up again! It might take another few weeks though Good luck all holders Ophir is undervalued but until the seller clears we may be in limbo

Yes the blog also mentions my concerns that RRE are seen as a liability collector ! Gathering abandonment liabilities from a host of other companies for their aging fields! Company needs to tell us more if they want my hard earned! Ps: thanks to mike15 for cross board ramping I am now doing research on this one
