Isn't the ftse made up of energy and mining stocks? Thats likely why the entire ftse is holding up. If commodities come down ironically we go up , maybe...
We've held 120 quite well. Its maybe over sold and we're just being kept down now. He says with hope
Sun no offence man but you're either a bot or a wind up merchant. You have endless cash and have been saying since I've been around this board "this will go up soon" I'm starting to think ur a salesman and never invested here. DYOR
Windfall tax... the socialist dream.
And the perfect way to destroy investment in any sector, bring down employment and innovation of new processes, i.e greener technologies. Let's give government our cash because they've always done a stellar job of managing the peoples money.
Oil companies were losing Billions a month and nobody gave a toss. Now they're clawing it back everyone is offended.
Not surprised with this tbh, would be good if we get through the week at this level.

I really don't have any issues with trump tbh. Economically and politically his term was positive, I think if he came back and the lefties stopped crying and he stayed off twitter it would be fine. The guys a moron but he doesn't pander to people like biden does, he looks after the countries energy security which in turn would bring down inflation worldwide.
The charts will go out the window if bidens approval ratings get any lower. He's saying he has a plan to deal with the inflation but if that includes decimating the economy he's out and probably opens up to their worst fears, the boogie man (Trump).
I can see more downside in the S&P etc the fed don't care about that, but I think the fed are worried about employment. If this gets worse the fed will go through another bout of QE imo.
