Sarah - have some patience, a. most people don't listen to podcasts b. wait for the RNS confirmation on finance, mou, BP gearing up. Its b that will drive price and the speculation that follows it. All should happen before Xmas and give you some pleasant xmas shopping money!
Mornington - if you did a bit of research on 1/ BP you'd know that's worth at least 100-120mcap alone, that will be in production before NY. It has 1.8m/t with Copper equivalent of 6% with many skarn pipes that will increase the resource 2/ Marange is the richest diamond field in the world, and they will be expecting to make 10-15m$ per month rev from that. That will be operational within 4 months. Its a company that's going places.
There are many miners on AIM with wonderful assets, the biggest questions are do they have the finance to get to them and how far are they away from the assets going into production. Most people get sucked in by the asset size and forget the last 2 most important questions. VAST as we know has 2 wonderful assets that tick the boxes in the last 2 questions. Marange and BP are both financed (well should be very soon) and should be both in production very soon. I don't consider the REMIN mines that VAST have (Magura Neagra & Piciroul Zimbrului). These are monster assets but as yet not financed and miles away from production. Most people by in on hype of assets, but then the realisation the project is years away from production the price will fall away. Fortunately for VAST we are not in that situation - ok there is still risk involved but if there wasn't the SP would already be higher. This is a great time to invest on a risk/reward basis.
Codey, stop stirring, we don't expect any news tomorrow except the GM. Much more likely next week. Its just a case of would you rather be in it before potential game changing news and a build up in price before that.
I've very looking forward to finding out more about our diamond concession, but don't overlook BP which should be up and running eoy/early next year. That alone is worth initially £100m-120 mcap to VAST and with time significant upside on further exploration. So just on BP this is undervalued still. Diamonds and the historic diamond claim is just like a very very juicy bonus on top.

Deal close, should be completed before year end - i.e futher down the line.
The fact is most of us British investors don't get this is Africa. Africa has a completely different mentality to ours. They do things in their own time, not to ours, not to good business practice, just in the African way. That's why the country has been in the dogs for so long, if they did things to better the country, and not themselves, then this would have been sorted years ago. AP fell into the typical Westerner hype that it would be signed, last week, this week, next week mantra that comes from African politicians. There is no blame on AP here, just different worlds. Worlds that think so differently. But it will happen, when, who the f knows. That is why it is so cheap here currently, as old savvy big money people don't yet believe what comes out of Zim gov's mouths. They await finality. They've got good reason too, especially with the amounts they'd invest, and that's where opportunity knocks for the smaller, more risk adverse investor. The same thing happened with me in crypto 5-6 years ago, take the chance, plunge, spot the opportunity. Not all will work out but when they do, well...…...
You really are an ignorant buffoon, now run along now. BP alone has 50m of infrastructure in place, due to open Xmas and turn 1 - 1.5m profit per month, diamonds are worth a lot more and on last presentation should create appox $15m rev a month, and will be in production soon. Very little debt, and a new finance deal coming, plus historic marange diamonds worth several million coming to vast. If you're short Nickel, you'll be in a pickle by Monday when that RNS drops :)
PREM has George ****roach in charge - be very careful over there Rob - might come good but he's lied numerous times before. I haven't seen no footage in Zimbabwe mentioning PREM - not saying it won't happen, but a far more risky play than VAST - also PREM have no money to actually mine it. VAST should be a far safer bet.
Sarah, no he wasn't fired - list here.

Well Sam, its all about AP and VAST hitting targets. So what do we expect in the near future, diamonds, historic claim and finance this week or next. The next big milestone is BP to start up end of year/beginning of next year, this will probably take 3 months though before its hitting the straps and producing nearer full capacity. So early Spring BP will be on full tilt, and I'd imagine diamonds by then too. That's when I would expect the SP value to reflect fully the asset value of BP and Marange, as by then investors will really no what its worth as it will be reflected in the cash being created. As to the SP value, well I prefer mcap, I'd imagine BP to be worth £100-120m mcap to VAST by Spring, and diamonds to be worth more (at this time its really hard to gauge exactly as we know so little - but if we use the old presentation I'd be expecting maybe 200m mcap as a very conservative estimate from the diamonds). So all in all wouldn't be surprised to see this next spring around 300m mcap by Spring if everything goes well - but invariable things may get delayed a little so this projection may need to be pushed out 3 more months.
BP which should be up and running around xmas / new year, alone will initially be worth 100-120 mcap alone. As it hits full production by Spring and they start looking into the undiscovered skarn pipes it could eventually be worth even more to VAST. Diamonds, well we wait to here % we get and what area we get, but if its anywhere as good as AP has alluded to that alone could bring mid-tier status to VAST. That's just those 2 near term assets. I won't even mention the others, plenty of room for SP and mcap growth here.
I'd rather take Castaways opinion over yours Todd or that permanent miserable git Fantasy. Look, you as SH should have all spotted that back in Dec-Jan timelines we're being missed, and the realisation of the potential was going to be delayed. I did, sold and re-entered back around 0.13p, as I realised things we're being back aligned. If you held through all the bad times, good on you, and I respect that, but if you are talking it down when things are going well and those chips are aligning (and as you all claim your still down), you're either liars, miserable gits or idiots.
Exactly Castaway this is the first step. You're 2p predictions don't look so far away now do they. I've been in and out of VAST for years, because I always realised the wonderful assets they had (and that was before the diamonds and the historic claims were just a pipe dream). Finally they are going to start to realise those wonderful assets. Short term, and I mean by Xmas this should be comfortably a £100-150m mcap company, maybe more, depends on how good that diamond licence is. Once production has been up and running for 3 months, and the diamonds and BP is running at full capacity you may be able to double that. Then as they ramp up production, increase tonnage milled and look at bringing on some of those other Romanian assets online well who knows where this could go.
