with what was a glimmer of hope now becomes a tragedy for the the people of Syria the Russians and Americans squabbling like two boys in the play ground assad doing his impression of a dictator on steroids and the people in the middle this looks to be the position that will be in place for a long time to come point being sanctions will not be lifted for the foreseeable future.
