A question for the more technically knowledgeable among us;
Apart from volumes, are there any other differences in the equipment being used for this industrial trial? The initial trial, carried out years ago, seemed to be a great success, or so we were told.
"The Morocco client must think Quadrise are a bunch of amatuers."
And they'd be absolutely right!
Wouldn't surprise me if it was the shares recently bought by the BoD that have been dumped. Yes I know it would be insider trading but based on previous incompetence, they probably wouldn't think they are doing anything wrong!!
More than half of August now gone, amidst the continued wall of silence. Still, just another 10 days or so until the next paycheque thuds into the staff bank accounts.
"When or if the Ball starts rolling how soon do you think it's going to get to 50p?"
If the "phantom" Moroccan client eventually becomes real, with a bit of luck on a successful trial, we might see 5p by the year end. Sadly, I don't think 50p will ever be a reality:-(
It must indeed be very complex DoN, or it would have been sorted long before now. However, I think the BoD now understand they are (probably) in the last chance saloon and they need to achieve some tangible progress sooner rather than later.
I disagree with your absolutely awful markets assertion however. As more and more of the investing public look towards ESG investment for new money, giving "green" fund managers a greater slice of the investment pie, I would argue there has never been a better time for a company with carbon-reducing credentials to attract investment. I also believe if the BoD could have secured £3-4m via a placement, they would have done so, citing "cheapest way to raise finance" as their reason for no existing shareholder offer. The fact they didn't tells it own story
We know a smaller trial was carried out successfully, however a (Successful?) completion of the industrial trial is merely step 1. Results will need to be fully analysed and these results will have to show significant, positive benefits to the client in order to be taken further.
Many many hurdles still to cross and I honestly believe if Morocco was going to be a success, it would have happened by now and I don't mean the trial, rather the whole commercial deal signed and sealed.
Sincerely hoping to be proved wrong but I have very little optimism left due to lack of progress since first investing in 2012.
"If it were a football team, he would have been sold last season."
Joe, managers tend to be sacked, not sold. Do you think another company would actually buy him? Fortunately for him, we are not in the football business or he would have been history years ago based on lack of results!
AKHM "Surely news on the fuel supplier is soon!"
Depends what you call soon? Our BoD's understanding of soon/imminent, seems to be vastly different to mine. Fuel supplier announced before or after end Q3, your guess is as good as mine.
Corporate greed at its finest!
There is much outcry around Oil/Gas/Electric profiteering and the associated corporate greed but at least they are making profits, unlike our lame duck BoD.
So if they do make some tangible progress and the SP rises, they will fill their boots with cheap shares, which they will no doubt sell for a profit, increasing their already huge remuneration and hampering SP growth.
Shameful
Well, looks like another month slips by without any tangible progress. Yes there should be plenty of updates in August but history suggests things will slip again.
If as we have been told many times, the Moroccan client is "very keen" then resumption and completion of the trial would have taken place by now. Until a contract is signed I will remain sceptical of the client's commitment. Still, another month's salaries will have hit the staff bank accounts, so onwards we go....
We are evidently at the whim of the client. I think from memory Jason hoped the trial could recommence in June but that has obviously didn't happen. We were then told it would fit in with client needs and campaign schedules, so like everything else, how long is a piece of string???
I said there would be very little chance of the full take up, do I win?
Better than someone else, who on the day the OO was announced said;
"The funding will IMVHO no doubt be massively over subscribed just like previous funding, because a lot of investors will try to get more of the stock than just their dilution, as getting more of the stock will bring their average price per share down."
And
"This 30% drop I'm sure will be history once the money is in the bank, and the share price goes up again as we are fully funded and approaching the Morocco trial."
So much for his "big shareholders" who we were led to believe would come to the rescue???
