I don't think we are likely to see the shares in SBRY languish at these levels for too long, without seeing some sort of big corporate activity. The big institutional shareholders will be pushing for a return on their capital and the patience of the Qataris must be sorely stretched at the moment. I, for one, am waiting for the fireworks. We mustn't lose sight of the fact that SBRY are no longer just a grocer and to compare them to Adil & Ludo all the time just doesnt make sense any more.
Would be interested to know the outcome of webcast, if anybody caught it. I was stuck in traffic, damn it.
off my radar Dibs, I don't know about you but I am eagerly waiting for 2pm Monday to see what is causing all this excitement. As you say, an amazing company and judging by the amount of directors purchases, they are extremely confident too. Bon chance mon ami.
So am I, results don't come much better than these but I am eager to see what I.C cay this week, as it has been one of their hot favourites for some time. A>T>B.
I doubt it, Markerstudy have agreed to the deal, however it could be that another company makes an approach. In my opinion this is a tragedy for long term investors, yet another good company being sold off on the cheap to satisfy a few institutions.........a stitch up! I would love to know who gets what in a brown envelope.
Due in April, I am sooooooooooooooooooo looking forward to that day, to watch the fireworks with the sp, anybody else agree?
Move is very exciting for all of us invested here but what surprises me a little, is, given the even bigger excitement of the possibilities of the Hardide product, we haven't heard more of this in the press. IMHO, as an retired engineer conversant with metallurgical processes, I see the potential uses of the Hardide treatment, as endless and it is a shame that the successes of British companies are not trumpeted far more loudly by the media.
This looks exactly like the Wiggins/ Planestation scenario, for all of you with a memory! I got wiped out by hanging on............I am out of here now.
Total pie in the sky nonsense, who makes up all this rubbish ? Vodaphone buying Telecity............laugh, I nearly bought my own beer!
Surprised not to see more chat on here re: Newgate Threadneedle,s appointment as PR and business advisers. The only reason I can see for their recent appointment, is, that Hardide are now on the verge of a major opportunity and are looking for a professional team to handle and market same. It will be interesting to see what evolves over the coming weeks, it shows Hardide are confident of future success because these boys don't come cheap.
are you sure this wasn't AVANTI?
Canaccord Genuity BUY target £4.69....time to fill up your baskets!
I agree, now is the time to buy, IMO. Every time you see someone using a mobile phone, (and lets face it, when do you ever see someone not using one ) its another couple of pence for TCY. luvly jubly!
Very much in the news at the moment, it seems to be the main driving force behind the steep rise this week for QPP ( see todays RNS ) and good news for us here I hope, long term. G.L.A
Good write up today on Tobin & TCY, a proper entrepreneur, a man after my own heart.
ALWAYS THE OPTIMIST!
