I would have liked to attend, unfortunately I am not able to.
We will have access to a video of the event (within 24-48 hrs), as per an email I received from LSE, the sponsors.
From data on H-L today, only 2 trades of a value exceeding £10,000.
Total trades 1.8 million.
We had 2 positive RNS's today.
A mention on Malcy's Blog.
I am at a loss to explain the lacklustre performance of the SP.
Maybe Ms MacAuley's attendance and presumably presentation tomorrow evening at the event tomorrow evening hosted by LSE (see above) might stimulate interest, I think that the presence of Paul Welch of the currently suspended SDX might attract a big audience.
I honestly think that the only things in the short to medium term to affect the SP in a positive manner are appreciably increased oil production from the recent 4 workovers and good to great performance numbers from EMS-1001 and ELM-1004 after hydraulic fracture stimulation. But as we have all seen, there are no guarantees!!
There is also the possibility of a drill up in the NE of Tapi Aike in "shallow levels" for an oil well, and it's near to export infrastructure. That's in next years plans, hopefully sooner rather than later, Remember that at current oil prices, one barrel of oil production per annum is worth $15k revenue to Echo minus well, pipeline costs and presumably carry costs. That was mentioned in Julian Bessa's interview (12.49) with ProactiveInvestors.
And maybe the Bolivian project might get an increased valuation if Shell or Repsol have a discovery of note in the not too distant future.

From Malcy's post, he uses the expression $30/-, quite what does he mean by that?

Thank you very much for your well considered and informative post.
"Transformational" is a corporate buzzword that has lost any meaning for me, in fact I tune it out.
I have a reasonable investment in Echo, and it seems to me to have terrific potential with many bites at the cherry in Tapi Aike. If EMS-1001 or the like adds substantially to the cashflow, then all the better. But as I have posted here on a number of times, patience is what is required and hopefully will be rewarded! Winding investors up with RNS predictions or asking for more information has no purpose, the management have stated a number of times that they are constrained in the language they may use and the information they can deliver.
I say let them get on with it.
Thanks again and appreciated.
WT
I got in touch with the organisers, and they confirmed by return that a video of the evening will be released within 24-48 hours.
So if you are not available to attend, we will be able to get a good idea of what transpired.
Hope this helps.

Dear HTL
It greatly saddened me to read of your news.
I fervently hope that you can beat your condition.
I have personally known some who have, even when faced with adversity.
I promise you that you will remain in my thoughts and I am sure other members of this board will concur
I am sure that this is currently a tough time for you, but please keep your spirits up, determination can help in your fight to get better.
Kindest regards,
WT
I have said before that patience is required.
I have logged onto the last 2 sessions, one learns little as managements are under heavy constraints as to what they can say.
But given your ire, I look forward to seeing you put these questions to the Echo management.
Might I say that I am not happy about the slide in the SP, but it is AIM, and that can be a law unto itself!
I do not imagine that Echo are thrilled about the SP, but I am not sure that they can do anymore than they are currently doing.
WT
I do not think that Echo are holding back news, good or even bad.
I think that it is in the interests of Echo to see the SP doing better.
Patience should be exercised, it will happen when they have something to say.
I want to hear how operations and production rates have been pushed ahead.
It will happen when it does, and do you really think that posts on this B/B will bring that moment occur one nanosecond sooner?
Can we just let then get on with their work program, they will tell us what they need to as soon as they can.
Just dumped Hurricane due to apparently impending volcanic eruption.
Bought a shedful of Echo!

Just bailed out of Hurricane until things settle down.
Not sure of how Hurricane may be affected, if the price drops I may be able to get back in with no harm done.
Mother Nature can be a spectacularly destructive power and no one knows when this baby will erupt, but it seems to be on the cards!
The best of luck to you all and your investments.
WT
Might the sale of a BP Egyptian asset to SDX to raise cash, be interesting or indicative of something that might have implications for us?
WT
Being patient.
Then one tweet and up almost 8%!!
I am incredulous !?!
Back to being patient.
WT
They couldn't tell us anything yesterday, even if they wanted to.
I bought some Hurricane at around 58p, it went down to 26p and bounced back up.
If you have no confidence in your buying decisions, the Building Society is the place for you.
If you have no patience, then AIM is not for you.
If you require hand-holding then find a girlfriend.
Echo in my opinion will bounce back in my opinion but there are no guarentees.
And I am not qualified to hand out advice.
Bleating about X,Y or Z will not affect the SP one iota.
Only good news will drive it up, and not always.
WT
From an answer given, they are not allowed to tell us anything that has not been published.
These sessions are not the forum for disclosures that the market are not already aware of!
The only way we will get information is by RNS or published updates be they financial or operational.
And I think that there are additional constraints set by the Argentinian authorities.
To those to whom it may concern
There would appear to have been some cataclysmically serious fallings out here recently.
And it was truly obvious that it was going to come to this.
I stepped away because of the overt and covert bullying.
Also the up/downstairs division.
And so much else.
You are meant to be adults, yet so often it has been "Lord of the Flies!" here.
For the party's concerned, you have been asked to wind your necks in, then it goes a little quiet for a day or two and like the maladjusted children that you are, you are off and running once again. Just as bad and nasty as before!!
The one thing I have come to realise for the main protagonists, is that no matter how much money you make from Hurricane, you will always unhappy people. And like the occasional lottery winner we hear about, you will eventually fritter it all away and down the line will be back looking for the next 10/20/100 bagger as if that one will really put things right. Believe me, it will not.
But I'm wasting my time, so for the time being - finis!!

From what I have seen, I can only agree with you!!

Thank you for your not inconsiderable efforts.

I hold 295k shares.
I have patience.
Share prices go up, they go down and in the realm of AIM there seems to be greater swings.
There are no straight lines or linearity in movements.
Either you have the b#lls to stick with the share or you sell up and decamp for greener pastures.
Anyone getting fraught over the swings we have seen lately should have their funds in the FT100 or a Building Society!??!
And some who post here are of the Walter Mitty variety or even delusional.
Some who pupport to own stock will have none and never have had.
One or two may be caught out by their posting history. To be a good Liar you should have a prodigious memory.
Small E&P shares are turbulent, especially in a country with economic issues. 60% inflation p.a. is bad!!
I would suggest that the faint hearted or the Liars "Man (or woman) Up!" lol, or "Ship Out" and leave the Echo discussion to those who are here for the foreseeable !!
Presumably BP, Shell et al all had knowledge of Hurricanes intention as they own WOSP.
WT
I have around 300k shares.
Was a little disappointed at recent RNS but it was NO disaster and we have oodles of potentially news in the pipeline.
My view is this is on one hand a tree shake by the MM's AND the fact that many in the financial sector are away on holidays, given that it is school holidays.
Seen it before, (& DYOR!!) but if you have the patience and do not have to sell; then sit tight.
Yawn!
It will all come back in the fullness of time and BTW, derampers and similar scum, GO ELSE WHERE!!
