Should it be the case that the 20 year production licence granted by Surrey council is overturned it is all for nothing so you will just have to be a little more patient the same applies for the water injector and the EA permit.

The government has won a similar case recently in the North sea so it should not be to long.

That sounds ideal timing to drill the Kimmeridge side track at Horse Hill had the regulations and challenges not been so longwinded this may already have been completed.

Have you done any research into the reason that you mention?

One if the main reasons that I see is the complexities and time consuming nature of UK regulations and legal challenges compared to other countries.

My hope being that once the Horse Hill legal challenge, EA permits and OGA permissions are granted for Horse Hill things will progress a little more swiftly especially with good revenues and profits.

I for one am very much looking forwards to the ties being released on this project to allow it to prosper and grow.

You forget to mention the transition with no new petrol of diesel cars produced after 2030 which may have life on the road for 15+ years.

The materials that are needed to produce all these new vehicles and charging points are also predominantly oil based meaning that unless new production materials are produced oil will be in strong demand well into the next century at ever increasing prices due to restricted new exploration, development and production.

It looks as if we will be back to the 1970 with power cuts and short time working as there wont be enough power generation available as only 20% of UK power is generated by nuclear power generation in the UK.

What is producing the electricity now there is no wind to drive the wind turbines.

I suppose that this means that Angus will be looking to raise new funds to complete works following Mirasols comments earlier never mind any plans they may have for Balcombe.

So if the planning committees don't allow schemes with the planning officers recommending them the planning inspectorate are going to be very busy and lightly give big fines to councils who's committees waste there time.

Loxley and the Isle of White councils, NO.1 & No.2. this will definitely have a impact on services provided.

You seem to ignore the fact that sub surface is not a planning issue only the use of the land.

I presume these followed the public consultations and the movement of the site access all of which will have brought a positive statutory consultee and planning officers recommendations.

If I remember correctly was it not you who said that one of the biggest problems was decisions were made to quickly without full consideration.

UKOG I imagine will want to see the result of the Loxley appeal but will also need to see if Dorimous are going to pay there share of the costs for there 5% share of the licence.

Yes I understand that Mirasol, but what he or you don't seem to understand is that UKOG probably new all of this but had no choice to go through the process which will enable them to have the issue looked at under the national planning policy on appeal.

The IOW council has dragged this application out for 18 months but the Authority & Statutory consultees have no objection before recommending it for acceptance. If they had not I am sure that UKOG would have taken them to appeal for non determination.

Whatever he or the IOW may think, they are part of the United Kingdom and receive support & resources from us & under the terms of the union they are mandated to be governed by UK law.

What do you think would happen if the UK stopped providing food, fuel and support to the island in protest?
