I thought the time restriction on director dealings was only before publication of results. I am still trying to work out why they all bought in the first week of May.

From what is happening at ITM it seems the shorters are not the sharpest tools in the box. They could have closed sub 40p!

I have doubts myself about AFC. However, if it is such a dud, why would the management be putting substantial amounts of their own money into buying shares around the current price? Their money if effectively locked. They dare not sell until the company is on a firmer financial footing as it would cause the price to collapse.

Sadly, I think British politicians and their advisors are too timid to show the leadership that is needed to make the UK a truly global leader in green technology.

I am sure we would all prefer revenue from sales. However, revenue from government grants is better than a highly dilutive placing. I just hope the pull back yesterday wasn't forward selling ahead of an RNS on Monday about a placing.

What we need now is more buying by the Directors to drive home the message to the shorters that their bets are going to turn bad.

They won't close yet. They might even sell more to crush the mini rally as they seem to have done in the past. They will have analysed AFC'S accounts and seen that, as thing stand, the company will probably have to get more funding before the end of the financial year. The default method will be a placing at a significant discount to the prevailing sp. More profit for the shorters and more liquidity that allows them to close in a gradual way that maximises their profits.

I suggest they will be forced to close quickly if our new senior managers are as good as I hope they are and find a strategic partner/investor in the next few months.

The impression I have of our new CEO and FD is they are not interested in time wasting endless trials or minimal revenue 'deals' just to keep shareholders happy with a periodic RNS.

When the company proves it is a viable business with a good order book instead of a company valued on wishful thinking and BS as it was under the previous management.

Some good news would include the new Directors showing faith in the business by buying some shares instead waiting for next January's heads they win tails they don't lose share options.

Share options should incentivise senior managers to substantially increase the share price not just keep it where it is.

I suggest when AFC starts to have visibility about actual earnings from substantial orders reducing the risk of significant dilution.

Can someone ask Bond when he intends to demonstrate his confidence int the company's prospects through buying more shares. He doesn't seem to have done that for several years.

I agree but only if they have a way of scaling up production and real not projected income.

Products seem to in an almost endless development and trial process. Significant revenue is always next year.
