Why would Shell, YPF and APA be interested in the region otherwises. We are a junior surrounded by 3 majors and in off shore Namibia massive oil discoveries have been made have they not!!!!

What is your grip with CEG plc? As time goes on it seems you all have another issue here. Is it becuase you lost money over the Bahamas? That was years ago get over yourself. I was saying if the majors are interested in the area of Uruguay, the potential for CEG is massive with two blocks.

What do you mean in October the farm outs are going to be announced and we have a very good opportunity to get a partner. I can not understand all the negative comment here. To be a junior in a sea of majors in Uruguay with 2 massive blocks it is clear to me a farmout is coming in the next month or two, otherwise why are the majors so interested in the area?????

Jesus - shares are not for short term investment - wait 6 months and then comment. With farmout by end of year and 3D early 2024 this is so undervalued or are you just a 'Bahamas lover' - Bahamas has gone and management has moved on - get over it- Uruguay is the next big play globally and we are it the heart of it.

Eytan has cut costs, made up debt free, turned Trinidad to becoming profitable, got 2 great off shore assets in Uruguay and no the verge of a nice farm out by the end of the year. Please explain the negatives in what I have laid out.

JohnBriggs, only because sad people like your self look short term. Shares are a long term investment look at all the upside to come with Uruguary. I can not see any negative side going forward, if so with Uruguay then when are all the majors so interested.

What is your issue with this company Eytan has done a fantastic job since becoming CEO yet you all are so hung up about what happened years ago. Get a grip and look forward Uruguay is big and so glad we have a big play in the country.

AREA OFF-1

Challenger Energy has 100% working interest in and is the operator of, the 14,557 km2 AREA-OFF 1 block, offshore Uruguay.

AREA OFF-1 was awarded in June 2020, and formally signed on 25 May 2022. The licence has a 30-year tenure with the first four-year exploration period having commenced on 25 August 2022.

The initial four-year exploration period work commitment (ending September 2026) is to licence and reprocess 2,000 kms of legacy 2D seismic, and undertake two G&G studies.

Given the strong emerging interest in Uruguay, and to facilitate a farm-out, this work program has been expanded and accelerated, with the work largely complete as at June 2023, and with the full program on schedule to be completed in Q3 2023.

As a result of this technical work program, three prospects have been identified from a range of play types. Prospects are seismically-derived, supported/ further de-risked by AVO analysis, and their robustness corroborated by geochemical seabed sampling and satellite seep analysis. These are summarized on the left.

The overall AREA OFF-1 prospect inventory of approximately 2 billion barrels recoverable resource and over 4.9 billion barrels in an upside case

That is the problem with you all here. I am not look at tomorrow or next week. Look long term with shares and with the way Uruguay is progressing nicely I rather look 12 months for now than what will happen next week. Just shows you how foolish BurrenBoy, JohnBriggs and ZagEgypt all are - pathetic. Shares are long term investments and with OFF 1 and OFF 3 this has a good future especially with a farmout looking very hopefully on OFF 1 by end of year.
