I agree with sentiments below. I've also held this share for around 15 yrs, everytime there is some good news it climbs but retreats back and often below it's previous low. It's very frustrating. Would be wonderful to see some sustained climbing rather than the stagnation around 30p
Newsflash - People die. Get over it.
Well said. I've had enough of it all. I went to a couple of pubs over the weekend and only saw one person wearing a mask, and he was taking it off to drink sips - what's the point! Everyone should just accept this is just a bad cold for majority of people and 99% of those who do get it will recover. Government are removing freedoms step by step and people are just accepting it. The first political party who are brave enough to end ALL restrictions and let people manage their own risk will clean up at the next election.
Good to see some positivity on here today. Specially after the doom mongers around yesterday.
I think people need to think longterm, where will this be in 5 yrs....
Do you really think it'll still be in this range of price, when Covid has been tackled more effectively and places open.
Personally I am thinking longterm...a loss isn't a loss until you sell.
That is exactly what I don't understand about this whole mess, it's surely deaths that are the key thing, not how many people have Covid. It's all so out of proportion IMO. The media are using the numbers for the headlines to keep their ratings up and drive their advertisers in those slots. It's so wrong.
Looking at the trades it starting it's nosedive toward the end of the session. I'd think it'll drop right down to 25p or even more.
I'd like to be positive on the price - but lately this share just seems to stagnate and only go in one direction since it's peak in March. I'd love to see the price rise, but I think it's not going to happen for a while.
Similar situation with me. I've got a few shares and most of my others are less volatile. I am very tempted to just sell the lot once I reach a small profit on this stock. It always seems to peak then fall away. I guess it's focusing on where it will be in 5 or 10 yrs time, but that doesn't make it easier to see it trickling back down from 75p a little while back.
That sounds promising, but until there is further news I don't think it'll get there. It normally spikes on good news and then falls away. Last time we have 2 news releases within days and it caused the massive jump to 75p. The pattern is this falls away between news. I really hope they follow up today's announcement with some more positive news to push it up to closer to 80 p again
It has to jump when the announce the reopening - their site says it'll be May but until they publish a date it'll stagnate.
I do think that once they announce on the CE Mark and then later in the year hopefully a positive US trail the price will go up, from the time I've held this share it spikes and then falls away while news is quieter. A few weeks back people ridiculed a poster for saying this would fall back to 48p and where are we now?
The risk is slower or delayed news to the CE Mark will cause it to fall further. But I agree with you, when someone is spending £116k it does indicate to me news is on the way and it's going to be good.
Madtom - That is how I look at it, today might not be pretty, but when we come out the other side of this the business will be in demand and no reason why it cannot go back to it's pre-Covid levels if people are patient.
I agree here. I've held stock in Futura for over 10yrs now and it's been a rollercoaster. When it shot up earlier this week I decided to cash half of my holding, I've seen it high at around 95p before only for the lack of news then see it shrink back to the 64p I paid in at. I am tempted to buy more, but I really don't have enough faith in it tbh.
It's been here before and shrunk back to 45p etc. I do think the CE Mark news and the US Study will see it rise up to around 90p again before the end of the year - but some of the opinions I've read/prices people suggest seem to good to be true for me looking at how it's been in the past. So for now, I'll wait till it gets back to a profit and shift the lot.
It's just too volatile for me.
